2 Gators signees are MaxPreps All-Americans
Two Florida Gators 2025 signees have been recognized as high school All-Americans by MaxPreps. Both players had huge senior seasons. And both call south Florida home.
They are … cornerback Ben Hanks III and running back Byron Louis. Each was a second-team selection.
Hanks, the son of former Florida linebacker Ben Hanks, broke the Miami-Dade County record with 13 interceptions in 2024. He is the No. 11 corner and No. 69 overall recruit nationally in the On3 Industry Rankings. Hanks is the fourth highest-rated member of the Gators’ No. 11 recruiting class — and thus far, the only cornerback.
