3-star DL Stephon Shivers signs with Florida
On Wednesday, 3-star defensive lineman Stephon Shivers of Humboldt (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy signed with the Florida Gators during the Early Signing Period. Here is everything you need to know about him.

Shivers says: “It was a great atmosphere. I ain’t never see nothing like the Swamp. Their defensive line, they got after it, and took what they wanted. That’s what I want to be a part of. People that want to work, people that want to go eat and dominate every play.”
Notable: Shivers is a former Georgia commit who will remind many of Desmond Watson. He is a space eater along the interior defensive line.

If he comes in and works as hard as he is capable of, he can make it to playing on Sundays. He has that rare quickness with a guy that big, but it’s going to rely on his determination and worth ethic to get him there. I really like his chances knowing him as a young man.
