4-star WR Izaiah Williams flips to Texas A&M
The Gators just lost one of their wide receiver commits on National Signing Day.
Izaiah Williams, a 4-star prospect from Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day, just flipped his commitment to Texas A&M after taking an official visit last weekend.
The Sunshine State native had been committed to Florida since May. He also attended nearly every Gators home game this season, so there had not been much drama since his commitment.
However, Williams actually grew up in Texas and quickly became a top priority for Mike Elko‘s staff. That resulted in a last-minute official visit and now signed letter of intent from the pass catcher.
Additional prospects who entered the day as Gators commits and are no longer in the class are linebacker Adarius Hayes (Miami) and defensive lineman Amaris Williams (Auburn).

With Williams headed to College Station, the Gators now have two wide receivers in the class and both are signed. Those 4-star prospects are Jerrae Hawkins and Tawaski Abrams.
