“Just the feeling I got from being there,” Abrams told Hayes Fawcett of On3. “It felt like the right place for me from the field to the classroom. Touring the facilities, getting to see that this place is really at the top when it comes to producing and creating great players let me know this is where I wanna be.”
Abrams is commitment No. 21 for the Gators.

They now have the No. 3 recruiting class in the country.
Why Florida?
“It just felt right,” Abrams told Gators Online. “I’ve been thinking on it for a minute.”
Abrams, who is listed at 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, revealed the news to the public Tuesday night. He told Napier and the Gators coaching staff earlier about his decision to flip.
“They were all excited,” Abrams said. “It’s been in motion for a minute.”
Abrams should be ready to enroll at Florida early in 2024
Abrams told Gators Online he will be a December graduate and plans to enroll at Florida in January.
“I’m definitely excited,” he said. “I could suit up tomorrow and be on campus. I’m ready.”
Here’s more on Abrams from Fawcett:
“Coach Billy (Gonzales) and coach (David Doeker),” Abrams said. “I have really been chopping it up with them guys since the day I got the offer. Then just been really filling me in on how I can improve the offense and using my speed to not only better myself, but the team.”
Abrams ranks as the No. 263 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 46 wide receiver and the No. 37 player in the state of Florida.
Abrams currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $72K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
