This weekend, dozens of highly-regarded prospects from the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes will be arriving in Orlando to participate in the 2025 Under Armour All-America Game.

The game is scheduled for Jan. 2 at Spec Martin Stadium and will be televised on ESPN at 4 p.m. ET. Media day, however, kicks everything off on Dec. 29. From there, several practices will take place leading into next Saturday’s game.

Having seniors in the game is nothing new, but this year will mark the first time juniors play in the game. Included in that group is 4-star Gators commit Will Griffin of Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit.

During his junior year, the 6-foot-2.5, 225-pound quarterback completed 186-of-286 passes for 2,213 yards, 24 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He chipped in with five rushing scores as well, averaging 6.5 yards per carry.

The Gators’ star signees will be lacing up the cleats in Orlando

As expected, Billy Napier‘s program has 2025 commits participating in prestigious event as well.

Highlighting the list are wide receivers Dallas Wilson and Vernell Brown III, the two highest-ranked prospects in the class. Brown is a legacy out of Orlando (Fla.) Jones who is extremely productive, as he is fresh off another 1,000-yard season. He is also a big-time threat as a punt returner.

With Wilson, I don’t think he needs much of an introduction, as the 5-star prospect has been the hottest topic among the Gators fan base in recent weeks. He signed with the SEC program on Monday after initially inking with the Oregon Ducks, becoming the highest-ranked signee in the class.

The additional Gators signees expected in Orlando are 4-star wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery, 4-star running back Byron Louis, 4-star defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins and 4-star linebacker Ty Jackson.

Montgomery, representing Miami Central, is a deep threat who has a reputation for getting behind the secondary for large gains. Louisville pushed hard down the stretch, but he chose to stick with the Gators.

Fresh off winning a state championship, Louis is a powerful runner who can really wear down defenses. He was very productive throughout his prep career at Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage and rushed for 221 yards in the title game. He was previously committed to Florida State.

Notre Dame tried flipping Wiggins late in the process, but the Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards star stayed loyal and after committing to UF back in January. He is being recruited to played on the edge but possesses positional versatility in the trenches. Wiggins can impact a game in a variety of ways.

Then you have Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge’s Jackson, who flipped from USC in November. And although he missed all of his senior year due to injury, Florida had him at the top of its linebacker board. Napier recently said he’s one of the best high school football players he’s ever watched. He’s not expected to take the field next week though.

About the Under Armour All-America Game

“Over its 16-year history, the Under Armour Next All-America Game has produced many of football’s best collegiate and professional players,” UA recently said in its press release.

“NFL Pro Bowlers have routinely played in the game, including No. 1 overall selections Jadeveon Clowney (2011), Jameis Winston (2012), Myles Garrett (2014) and Kyler Murray (2015). More than 350 alumni of the Under Armour Next All-America Game have been selected in the NFL Draft, including 84 first-round draft picks. Three quarterbacks, Winston, Murray and most recently Jayden Daniels in 2023, have won the Heisman Trophy.

“The 17th Under Armour Next All-America Football Game will once again feature more than 100 of the nation’s best senior high school football players on January 2, 2025 in front of a national audience live on ESPN. “
