Faedo pitched for the Gators from 2015-17 and won a National Championship with the program in 2017. Faedo was close to making the big league team but had a setback and needed Tommy John surgery in December 2020. He was off to a strong start in his first four games of the season split across Single-A and Triple-A. Over 15 2/3 innings, Faedo was 2-1 with a 1.72 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts.
