GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The All Pro Dad Experience is coming to Sanders Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This one-day event will feature University of Florida Head Coach Billy Napier, family-friendly activities, and more. Hosted by Tampa-based national nonprofit Family First, the event highlights its partnership with The Florida Department of Education (DOE) and its shared mission to promote literacy in the state.

“When presented with the opportunity to be associated with All Pro Dad and their mission, it was a no-brainer,” Billy Napier said. “I really believe in the impact of family, and I believe in the impact that we have as fathers. For me, certainly in a very competitive arena and relative to my career, I’m always trying to allocate my time to be more effective, to provide better leadership and to be a better example. This All Pro Dad day will present that opportunity. I’m excited about what I’m going to learn, and I’m excited to represent our entire organization by being there.”

More about All-Pro Dad

All Pro Dad is the fatherhood program of Family First, a national nonprofit organization based in Tampa that reaches thousands of parents each day through its two primary programs: All Pro Dad and iMOM.

The organization was founded by Mark Merrill and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy. Serving families and fathers for more than 20 years, All Pro Dad provides resources, training, and events to help fathers as they raise their children for a healthy and hopeful future.

The Gainesville All Pro Dad Experience is partnered with the Florida Department of Education to further promote literacy across the state. Additional partners include the Dairy Council of Florida, Tyson Foods and SouthState Bank.

“We value each and every opportunity to encourage reading among dads and kids,” said Manny Diaz, Jr., Florida Commissioner of Education. “Cultivating a love for learning, while helping fathers build better relationships with their children is a win for families and their futures. I am grateful for events, like the Gainesville All Pro Dad Experience, where fathers have the chance to share lifelong memories with their children.”

Due to NCAA regulations, only children ages zero through 12 and/or up to eighth grade are permitted to participate in this event. For more information on the 2023 All Pro Dad Experience in Gainesville, visit allprodad.com/gainesville-all-pro-dad-experience.
