Billy Napier hosting "Chalk Talk" for high school and middle school coaches

Head coach Billy Napier will host a coaching clinic for high school and middle school coaches on campus in Gainesville.
The clinic, which welcomes middle and high school coaches, is set for March 24-26 and will feature guest speakers from the college and NFL levels.
The event will take place inside the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on March 24 and will then move to the Champions Club at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for the remainder of the schedule.
Napier has done a good job early on in his tenure speaking to various high school coaches throughout the state. Having good relationships with the coaches of the players you’ll be recruiting is a vital piece to recruiting in Napier’s mind. This will be the second coaches clinic that Napier has attended and the first that UF is hosting.

Gators spring pratcice and spring game set
The Gators will start spring practice on March 15. It will be the first time that Billy Napier’s football team will hit the field to begin prepping for the 2022 season.
Spring football camp can be conducted over a 34-day period with 20 hours per week of unrestricted activities. Players must receive one day off per week. Florida will have 15 practices, and only 12 of those 15 can be in full pads.
The Gators will also have their first true spring game in three years on April 16. The Gators had their spring game canceled in 2020, along with every practice, due to COVID-19. The team held spring practices last year, but the final scrimmage didn’t take place in front of fans at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
