GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators are back in a Super Regional for the first time since 2018. The Gators beat Texas Tech in a seventh and final game in the Gainesville Regional. Florida will host South Carolina starting Friday in a best-of-three series. The winner will punch its ticket to Omaha, Nebraska and the College World Series.
The Gators and Gamecocks met earlier in the season. South Carolina swept the series over Florida at home.
