GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida receiver signee Dallas Wilson is reporting to Gainesville on Thursday to enroll early at UF, his agent Vernell Brown Jr. of EL1TE Sports Management Group tells Gators Online.

Wilson was admitted to UF earlier this week after meeting the Monday deadline to complete his coursework, but his transcript hit a snag and he had to retake one of his final exams on Thursday.

Wilson’s transcript is now finalized and good to go, his agent said, and he can enroll in classes for the UF spring semester.

The 6-foot-2.75, 193-pound Wilson is ranked the nation’s No. 8 wide receiver and No. 41 overall recruit in the On3 Industry player rankings. He will be the last freshman recruit to enroll early for offseason workouts.

Wilson is one of 24 mid-year enrollees for UF, including 19 signees from the high school ranks and five transfers via the winter portal window.

Gators Online first reported on Dec. 19 that Wilson was requesting out of his Oregon paperwork and then officially released later that day with plans to sign with Florida.

Wilson signed with the Gators on Dec. 22 after visiting Gainesville and has since returned to watch the UF basketball team rout No. 1 Tennessee, 73-43, with Billy Napier.

In his only interview since joining Florida’s 2025 class, Wilson spoke exclusively with Gators Online about the decision and his relationship with UF quarterback DJ Lagway.

“Literally the whole day we were vibing,” Wilson said. “It was good. We did a lot of things. Just chilling with him and really getting to know him. He wasn’t really preaching a message or anything. But I definitely felt his energy every time we talked. He definitely wants to execute and go win a national championship.”

Florida signed the top receiver class in the country with Wilson, top-50 national recruit Vernell Brown III, 4-star prospect Naeshawn Montgomery and three-star sleeper Muizz Tounkara of Texas. Additionally, the Gators signed UCLA transfer J.Michael Sturdivant, a big-play machine.

“I wouldn’t put a limit on our wide receiver room,” Wilson said. “I’d say we’re reaching beyond everything. Great players. Great Florida players. And we’ve already got a connection. Getting in that room is going to elevate it. We’ve all got talent that one of us doesn’t have, so I guess I could easily say we’re all great players.”
