Elite basketball recruits Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the sons of former NBA standout Carlos Boozer, appear to have liked what they experienced during their respective official visits with the Florida Gators the first weekend in November.

The two talked up that trip — and the program itself — in an interview posted Saturday with On3 national reporter Joe Tipton.

Cameron Boozer, a 6-foot-9 power-forward, is the No. 2 overall player nationally in the 2025 class for the On3 Industry Rankings. He already has 5-star status.

Cayden Boozer is a 6-foot-3 point guard. He’s a 4-star (for now) and the No. 14 prospect in the country.

The brothers play at Miami (Fla.) Christopher Columbus.

They have taken four official visits — to Florida, Duke, Kentucky and Miami.

Here’s what each said about the Gators in their interview with Tipton …

Cameron Boozer: “It’s a good program too. New head coach. This is their first year where they brought in a new team. The year before, there was some from the last coaching staff too. They’re young, they’re hungry. It’s another great school and my home state.”

Cayden Boozer: “Just there analytics, they have NBA type of analytics. There new staff too. They just got a new staff last year and now this is their first real year. So I’m very excited to see how they play this year. They play really fast and a style that I would like to play.”

Per Tipton, the brothers are “currently now focused on the high school season and don’t currently have any future trips planned. It sounds like they’re not in a rush to make decision either.”

He added that, “Cameron says he would like to make a decision by the start of his senior year and Cayden says ‘I think I’m definitely going to take my time on it. It’s a big decision and I don’t want to rush it.'”
