One of the nation’s premier 2024 linebackers will follow in the footsteps of his father.

Myles Graham, the son of former Florida running back Earnest Graham, just pulled himself off the market by committing to the Gators. He becomes the first rising junior to team up with Billy Napier’s program.

Also, earlier this week, Gators Online listed Graham as one of five candidates to become UF’s first commitment from the 2024 class.

A product of Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy, the 6-foot-1, 212-pound Graham has racked up a plethora of additional offers as well, including ones from Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Texas; however, his home away from home is in Alachua County with the Gators.

Prior to making his commitment official, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine favored the Gators with odds of 96.3 percent. I submitted a prediction with a confidence level of 80 percent.

According to the On3 Consensus. a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, the four-star prospect ranks as the No. 4 linebacker and No. 45 prospect regardless of position. He is already committed to play in the 2024 Under Armour All-America Game as well.

“They prioritize me at the linebacker position. They love the way I play,” Graham said last month. “Coach Napier, I talk to him on the phone all the time. They prioritize me a lot and make me feel special every time I come here.

I love the Swamp. It’s always a great time up there. Coach Bateman, he obviously coaches my position. He’s really not a coach that’s going to get on you and cuss you out. He’s going to get on you when he needs to do but always be there for you and be by your side and give you his best at all times.

“Watching him coach, I can see myself playing for him.”

Graham is more than accustomed to the Swamp

Since the beginning of this year, Graham has logged four visits to Gainesville. As GO first reported earlier this week, the top-100 prospect will be in attendance for UF’s season opener as well.

Those are just the visits since Napier has came aboard, however, as the legacy prospect has set foot in campus plenty of times alongside his father as well. There is just a different level of comfort when associating with the orange and blue, but this staff definitely earned Graham’s respect.

“They are pushing the legacy button and following in my dad’s footsteps. It’s a big deal because he was a great player here obviously,” Graham said. “But they are also pushing the buttons in terms of coming in and starting because they are not very deep at linebacker. I can come in and play right away. It’s also not far from home being a 4-5 hour drive.

“It’s just a great fit me for me all around. Academics, my family pushes that the most.”

Graham currently boasts an On3 NIL Valuation of $91K. It’s an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date; it rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
