ESPN's College Gameday to feature Florida Gators vs Tennessee Volunteers
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Fans tuning into ESPN’s iconic College Gameday will get a healthy dose of the Florida Gators. For the first time since 2016, College Gameday is heading to Knoxville for the Gators and Vols matchup. The last three times Gameday has been to Knoxville, the Gators have been in town.
The show airs live on ESPN from 9 a.m. to noon.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS from a sold-out Neyland Stadium.
Saturday will mark the ninth Tennessee-Florida game that College GameDay has broadcast from. The series is tied for the third-most frequently visited matchup by the show, trailing only Alabama-LSU (11) and Ohio State-Penn State (11). Alabama-Georgia has also been a part of nine broadcasts.
The Gators own the all-time series 31-20. The Volunteers won the first 10 games of the series but the series has been dominated by Florida since. The Gators have won five straight and 16 of the last 17 games against Tennessee.

Florida wasn’t able to put USF away early, instead watching with bated breath as a would-be game-tying field goal missed with less than a minute.
“I’m proud of the team and the fight that they showed, This is a group that has shown they’re going to stick together and they’re going to fight through adversity and they’re going to have each other’s back, and do enough on offense, defense, and special teams,” Billy Napier said. “Something about these one-score games, right? I’m thankful to win and I told the players that. In this game, I don’t think people really understand how much work goes into it from our players and pout staff. Anytime you win a football game there’s a place to celebrate that, and we’re certainly going do that tonight. We’ve got a lot of work to do, that’s very obvious, But credit to our team and staff for sticking together and finding a way to win.”
