Florida Gators announce date for this year's Pro Day

The Gators football program will hold its annual Pro Day on Monday, March 28 on the UF campus.
Fourteen draft-eligible Gators and two former players will work out for NFL general managers, coaches and scouts in the indoor practice facility.
Pro Day will air live on SEC Network+. Fans can follow the @GatorsOnline social media platforms for updates and coverage. The event will not be open to the public.

Six Pro Day participants had the opportunity to play in all-star games after the 2021 season: Carter (Senior Bowl), Delance (East-West Shrine Bowl), Pierce (Senior Bowl), Reese (Hula Bowl), Truesdell (Shrine Bowl) and Valentino (Hula Bowl).

Four former Florida players also competed at the NFL Combine earlier this month, highlighted by Elam. He boosted his draft stock with his 40-yard dash time, recording an official time of 4.39 seconds. That ranked in the top 10 at his position at the Combine, with only seven other corners running a faster 40 time.

UF had eight players selected in the 2021 NFL Draft: tight end Kyle Pitts (round 1, pick 4), wide receiver Kadarius Toney (round 1, pick 20), quarterback Kyle Trask (round 2, pick 64), cornerback Marco Wilson (round 4, pick 136), kicker Evan McPherson (round 5, pick 149), safety Shawn Davis (round 5, pick 165), defensive tackle Tedarrell Slaton (round 5, pick 173) and offensive lineman Stone Forsythe (round 6, pick 208).
