Florida Gators announce National Championship celebration details

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators men’s basketball team will celebrate its 2015 national championship in Gainesville on Saturday during an extended 30-minute halftime at the Orange & Blue Game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Admission is free.
The spring football game begins at 1 p.m. with the halftime celebration taking place at approximately 2 p.m. The event will include remarks from UF coach Todd Golden and players, as well as highlights looking back at the Gators’ incredible run to the title.
Gators Online will be on site for coverage of the celebration, which will be carried live on the Gators Sports Network from LEARFIELD, and video will be available for digital streaming at a later date.
Gates open at 11:30 a.m., and all non-reserved parking on campus, including Lots 114 and the Stephen C. O’Connell Center garage, will be available for general parking on a first-come, first-served basis.
The day begins with Gatorland Fan Fest opening at 10 a.m. on the North Lawn of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, where fans will be able to take their picture with the championship trophy and pick up the national championship poster. Posters will also be available at select locations on the concourse.
