The Gators are bringing a pair of offensive players and their top defensive back to SEC Media Days, the team’s Twitter account announced on Monday. Making the trip to Nashville on July 19 will be wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun and cornerback Jason Marshall Jr.

Pearsall led the team last season with 661 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 33 catches after transferring for Arizona State, while Eguakun has made 26 consecutive starts as Florida’s center.

Pearsall and Eguakun are the only full-time starters back at their respective positions. Pearsall graded out as the No. 3 returning SEC receiver by PFF, while the Reese’s Senior Bowl director is high on the potential of Eguakun.

Marshall started all 13 games in 2022 and allowed zero TDs in 336 coverage snaps with eight pass breakups and an interception. He’s one of two returning starters in UF’s secondary.

In his first 2024 NFL Mock Draft this week, ESPN’s Jordan Reid has projected the Dallas Cowboys to selected Marshall in the first round with the 27th overall pick.

Next Thursday will be the second SEC Media Days for Gators coach Billy Napier, who brought offensive tackle Richard Gouraige, linebacker Ventrell Miller and quarterback Anthony Richardson last year.
