Florida Gators appearance date set for SEC Football Media Days

SEC Football Media Days is headed back to Atlanta and the Florida Gators’ appearance schedule at the event is set. Media Days will be held at the College Football Hall of Fame and Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park from July 14-17. UF coach Billy Napier and select Gators players will appear on Wednesday, July 16.

The schedule for the week is as follows:

Monday, July 14
LSU – Brian Kelly
Ole Miss – Lane Kiffin
South Carolina – Shane Beamer
Vanderbilt – Clark Lea

Tuesday, July 15
Auburn – Hugh Freeze
Georgia – Kirby Smart
Tennessee – Josh Heupel
Texas – Steve Sarkisian

Wednesday, July 16
Alabama – Kalen DeBoer
Florida – Billy Napier
Mississippi State – Jeff Lebby
Oklahoma – Brent Venables

Thursday, July 17
Arkansas – Sam Pittman
Kentucky – Mark Stoops
Missouri – Eliah Drinkwitz
Texas A&M – Mike Elko

The event was held in Dallas last summer to help promote the additions of Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC. The year before that it was in Nashville, Tn. Per a University of Florida release, “A more detailed daily schedule with full television information, rotational breakdown and student-athletes attending will be available prior to the event in early July. SEC Network will once again bring the four-day event to a national audience.”

In 2024, Napier and the following Florida players—linebacker Shemar James, running back Montrell Johnson Jr., and quarterback Graham Mertz represented the Gators at this event.
