Florida Gators Baseball television schedule set

The No. 9 Florida Gators are just over a week away from kicking off the 2022 baseball season. On Wednesday their television schedule was released.

The Gators will be featured on the ESPN family of Networks 11 times this year.

Florida is set to play on SEC Network in six of those 11 games. The Gators’ first television game of the 2022 campaign comes on Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m. — the series opener against No. 8 LSU. One game, at Florida State, will be featured on ACC Network. Currently, only two of the three games against the Noles are scheduled to be televised, but a source told Gators Online that March 15 game against FSU could potentially be picked up by SEC Network.

Florida’s annual matchup with Vanderbilt is always one that gets circled on the calendar by both teams. It will be an easy game to watch this year as well. All three games of the series in Nashville will be broadcast. Friday the 7:00 pm first pitch will be on ESPN2. Saturday the series moves over to SEC Network before the Sunday finale on ESPNU.

Florida is set to open the 2022 season at home the weekend of Feb. 18-20 in the form of a three-game series against Liberty of the Atlantic Sun Conference. All three games of the season-opening series will stream live on SEC Network+. Additionally, all home games that are not on traditional television will be available to be streamed on SEC Network+.
