Florida Gators basketball NCAA Tournament projections

Florida is projected by all significant college basketball authorities to be solidly in the field for the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The only question left is this: How high of a seed can Todd Golden and the Gators, now 21-9 overall, get?
Tuesday night’s 105-87 home win over Quad-1 opponent Alabama was huge. And with it, most think Florida will be in the 6 or 7-seed range — as of Wednesday morning.
But there still is time for the Gators to climb.
Might another Quad-1 win or two in the SEC Tournament get Florida up to a 5 seed? Time will tell.
Per Sportskeeda, this is what qualifies as a Quad 1 victory: “A win at home against teams ranked 1-30, win at a neutral venue against teams in the Top 50 and an away win against teams in the Top 75.”
