The Gators’ fan base is brimming with joy on Saturday evening, as No. 6-ranked Florida beat top-ranked Auburn 90-81 for the program’s first-ever road victory over a No. 1 team in the Associated Press poll.

Walter Clayton Jr. led the way with 19 points, although five Gators racked up double figures while starting guard Alijah Martin was sidelined with a hip injury. Florida’s victory snapped Auburn’s 14-game winning streak, including a 10-0 record at home and an undefeated record in conference play.

Below are reactions to Florida’s massive victory and second defeat of a No. 1-ranked team this season.
