Florida Gators commit Kahnen Daniels rushes for 400-plus yards in epic performance
Kahnen Daniels‘ senior season started a bit slow — by his lofty standards — as he recovered from a recent mild concussion. But now the 4-star Florida Gators commit from West Point, Miss., is hitting his stride, to say the least.
Friday night, Daniels had an epic performance that had social media buzzing.
In a 50-40 win over Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County, he rushed for a staggering 427 yards on 38 carries and scored seven touchdowns. That moves his unofficial total to 776 yards and 14 touchdowns on 71 carries (10.9 yard per rush) — in only three games.
Not long after his dominant showing, Daniels posted the following message on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter: “I’m not done.”

Daniels’ had 17 rushes for 68 yards in his team’s first game of 2023. Fully healthy the next week, he went well over the 200-yard mark.
Daniels then took things to another level Friday night.
Per reports, he started fast, scoring twice in the opening quarter.

Two of Daniels’ touchdowns occurred in the fourth quarter. He helped West Point rally from six points down to beat a team that is the defending Class 3A North champ.
Where does Daniels’ rushing output rank among the best single-game totals in Mississippi history? That unclear, but we believe he’s outside the all-time top 10.
A 2015 article from the Clarion Legder, probably the most well-known newspaper in the Magnolia State, noted at the time 456 yards was in the No. 10 spot.
Nonetheless, Daniels’ performance certainly was memorable.
Si.com reported that Daniels’ touchdown runs covered 3, 64, 37, 3, 35, 5 and 17 yards.
