Florida Gators earn trip to 2023 College World Series
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators are back in the College World Series for the thirteenth time in program history and the eighth time under manager Kevin O’Sullivan. This will be Florida’s first trip back to Omaha since the 2018 Colleg World Series.
Florida was the first team in the country to punch its ticket to the College World Series this season. The Gators’ first game in Omaha would be against the winner of the Virginia-Duke Super Regional on Friday, June 16.
Florida goes into the CWS with 50 wins. It is the seventh time the Gators baseball program has won 50 games and the fifth under Kevin O’Sullivan.
