Florida falls out of top five in new AP poll after loss at Tennessee
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators dropped out of the top five of the latest Associated Press Poll on Monday following a blowout loss at Tennessee over the weekend.
Florida fell from fifth to No. 6 in the new AP Top 25 after getting beat 64-44 by the Volunteers, who moved four spots and into the top five at No. 4.
The Florida Gators (18-3, 5-3 SEC) are back in the O’Dome on Tuesday to host Vanderbilt. Tip is at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
The Commodores (16-5, 4-4 SEC) have two victories against top-10 teams with upset wins over Tennessee and Kentucky.
