South Gwinnett, 3-star tackle/guard Mike Williams of Baltimore (Md.) Charles Herbert Flowers and 3-star tackle/guard Noel Portnjagin of Germany. Westphal praised the Gators’ two offensive line coaches, Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton.

“They are the full package when it comes to coaching with their personal player experience, NFL experience and years of coaching experience,” Westphal said. “I could learn a lot from them both. Plus it gives the (O-Line) more reps in practice because they can divide and conquer.”

Ten players committed to the Gators in June. (Complete commitment list HERE) Midway through that month, Florida sat well outside the top 10 of the recruiting team rankings. Now, the Gators are solidly in the top five and remain very much in contention with several more high-quality targets.
