Florida Gators issue initial injury report ahead of Kentucky game
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators issued their initial availability report Friday night along with Kentucky. It’s the first of two injury reports that will be released before the No. 6 Gators (13-0) face the No. 10 Wildcats (11-2) in Lexington Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN.
Florida heads into SEC play healthy and has no players listed on Friday’s availability report. Kentucky will be without one of its guards, as fifth-year senior Kerr Kriisa is listed as out for Saturday’s game.
The second injury report will be released 90 minutes before tip. Only players who generally play before the outcome is decided have to be reported by teams.
That’s why Florida junior center Micah Handlogten, who’s redshirting to recover from his leg injury last year, is not included on the reports this season.
