Florida Gators OLB Lloyd Summerall III enters transfer portal
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida Gators outside linebacker Lloyd Summerall III has entered the transfer portal.
He announced his decision on Tuesday with On3’s Hayes Fawcett, who was the first to report the news.
“I appreciate the University of Florida and the whole organization for everything throughout these past years,” Summerall wrote. “I will be entering my name in the transfer portal seeking a new home.”
Summerall has two years of eligibility remaining in college.
He is the fourth outside linebacker the Gators have lost, along with Chief Borders, Brenton Cox Jr. and David Reese. They will return just two players at the position in starter Antwaun Powell-Ryland Jr. and true freshman Jack Pyburn.
