The Gators wanted to add a playmaker in the slot this offseason, and they found their guy in Arizona State receiver Ricky Pearsall.

He chose UF over Oregon and Auburn over the weekend, tweeting out “Scared Money Don’t Make Money” with his commitment graphic.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Pearsall finished last season with 48 receptions, 580 receiving yards and four touchdowns, leading the Sun Devils in all three categories. His best game came against No. 20 UCLA, catching four passes for 132 yards and two scores in ASU’s 42-23 win.

During the spring, Pearsall discussed his expectations for himself in 2022.

“For me, it’s about the team. Obviously, I have personal expectations and personal goals. I want to be the best receiver in the nation, and I want to win a championship. Those are two things I’m looking forward to,” Pearsall said.
