Sharif Denson pledged to Florida in style on Monday. The top-200 defensive back announced his decision with a must-watch commitment video.
Denson had some company in the 1:08 clip, with Jacksonville Gators Fred Weary, Ciatrick Fason, Lito Sheppard and Gus Scott making a cameo. All four former UF players, followed by Denson, had the same message in the video: Jacksonville is “Gator Country.”
With the addition of Denson, Florida will now sign a player from Jacksonville for the fifth consecutive recruiting cycle. UF is up to nine commitments in its 2023 class, which is now ranked No. 17 nationally.
