With football season approaching, the University Athletic Association has announced the themes and designations for all seven home games during the 2022 schedule.
Single game tickets will be available for the general public here starting on Tuesday, June 21 at 10 a.m. Fans can sign up here for early access to the pre-sale on June 20.

Sept. 3 | Utah | Essential Workers Appreciation Night
Join the Gators when they host Utah for Essential Workers Appreciation Night, presented by UF Health. Frontline employees, who have tirelessly worked each day to keep us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be honored during the season opener. For each ticket purchased, the UAA will donate a ticket to local individuals in essential workers roles including, but not limited to, healthcare personnel, first responders, educational staff members, and public transit employees. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
Sept. 10 | Kentucky | Championship Reunion Weekend
Each football season, the UAA invites members of select UF championship teams back to campus to be remembered, saluted and cheered. The 2022 Championship Reunion Weekend game, presented by GFL Environmental, will feature the Gators and the Kentucky Wildcats in the first SEC game of the year at The Swamp. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
Sept. 17 | USF | UF Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night
The Gators will celebrate UF Faculty and Staff members for their contributions to the university when the Gators take on USF for UF Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night, presented by the Florida Farm Bureau Federation. UF Faculty and staff members can receive up to 20 percent off tickets to the USF game. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Oct. 1 | Eastern Washington | Family Weekend
Join the Gators for the matchup against Eastern Washington on Family Weekend. The UF campus will be transformed into Orange & Blue with campus-wide events from lectures to performances, leading up to the game at The Swamp. Kickoff is set for noon ET.

Oct. 8 | Missouri | Homecoming
The Gators will host Missouri on Saturday Oct. 8 for its annual Homecoming Game, presented by Wells Fargo. Around campus, the festivities will kick off during the days leading up to homecoming with events such as the Gator Growl pep rally, Gator Gallop and Soulfest among others. The Gators own a 70-26-2 record in Homecoming games all-time, including a 28-5 mark since 1989. In addition to Homecoming festivities, the UAA will induct seven Gator Greats, one Distinguished Letterwinner and one Honorary Letterwinner into the UF Athletic Hall of Fame. The list of Gator Greats on this year’s class includes Jeff Demps (Men’s Track & Field & Football), Conor Dwyer (Men’s Swimming), Joe Haden (Football), Michelle Moultrie (Softball), Chandler Parsons (Men’s Basketball), Christian Taylor (Men’s Track & Field) and Mike Zunino (Baseball). Additionally, Steve Beeland (Men’s & Women’s Tennis) is set to be inducted to the Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Letterwinner, while former athletics director Jeremy Foley will enter as an Honorary Letterwinner.
Oct. 15 | LSU | Tom Petty Day at The Swamp
It will be Tom Petty Day at The Swamp when the Gators host the LSU Tigers. The 2022 football season will mark the fifth anniversary of ‘I Won’t Back Down’ being played at the end of the third quarter and UF will be celebrating the Gainesville native all day long. A special, co-branded line of merchandise in tribute of music icon Tom Petty and the Florida Gators will be available online and on game day.
Nov. 12 | South Carolina | Saluting Those Who Serve
The University Athletic Association will honor members of the armed forces, veterans and local first responders as part of Florida’s annual ‘Saluting Those Who Serve’ game against South Carolina, presented by Vystar Credit Union. For each ticket purchased, the UAA will donate a South Carolina game ticket to a local military hero.
