With transfer season in high gear, the Florida Gators have been extremely active evaluating and recruiting coveted players. Transfers can officially visit Dec. 9-22, then Jan. 1-5 for mid-year players and then beginning Jan. 6 for everyone. Here’s a look at the known players thus far expected to officially visit Florida.

DEC. 10-12 — DL Keeshawn Silver, Kentucky: Silver visited Florida on Tuesday-Thursday. That will be followed by officials to Southern California (Thursday) and Michigan (Friday). Miami is the other school in his top group. He’s the No. 1 defensive line transfer for On3.

DEC. 11-12 — P Tommy Doman, Michigan: Appeared in 31 games at Michigan, serving as the starting punter, kickoff specialist and holder each of the last two seasons. Florida’s competition for Doman isn’t known. He’s the No. 8 transfer punter for On3.

DEC. 11-13 — QB Justyn Martin, UCLA: Signed with the Bruins in the 2022 class. He redshirted in 2022, and was a backup in 2023 and and 2024. In 2024, Martin completed 24 of 35 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback is a position of need for the Florida Gators in the transfer portal this offseason even though they’re set to return starter DJ Lagway and just signed 4-star recruit Tramell Jones. Florida has not yet offered Martin.

DEC. 13-15 — S Zechariah Poyser, Jacksonville State: Wildwood, Fla., native had 75 tackles and three interceptions in 2024 as a redshirt freshman. He’s also officially visiting Auburn and LSU this week prior to his trip to Gainesville. He is close with Gators receiver signee Vernell Brown III — and Brown’s father is representing Poyser.

DEC. 14-15 — WR J.Michael Sturdivant, UCLA: In three seasons (one at Cal, two at UCLA), he has 123 catches for 1,667 yards. He’s from Dallas, Texas. It’s unclear at this time who the primary competition is, but Florida is expected to heavily recruit him. We have multiple sources saying that is the date he will visit the Gators, but we have not yet reached Sturdivant.
