Florida Gators' Princely Umanmielen Named to Lombardi Award Watch List
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — On Tuesday afternoon, the Rotary Club of Houston announced that Florida defensive end Princely Umanmielen was named to the Lombardi Award Watch List.
Roughly 24 hours ago, Umanmielen was also named to the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List. That award is presented annually to the college defensive player of the year.
A native of Manor, Texas, Umanmielen is one of nine defensive ends to make both of those watch lists. He is one of five SEC defensive players named to both lists as well.
