Over the past week, we’ve covered how well Florida’s offensive line and top players graded out with Pro Football Focus. It’s worth highlighting the grades made by the team in the classroom as well.

The weight room isn’t the only place the Gators have made gains this offseason. The Florida football program set two team records for spring semester GPA and cumulative team GPA.

The Gators posted a 3.48 spring semester GPA, breaking the previous mark of a 3.37 spring GPA set in 2024. The football team also set a program-best cumulative team GPA of 3.46, eclipsing the record of 3.34 from the spring of 2024.

Along with the record-setting GPA numbers, the Gators had 100 players (86% of team) that earned a 3.0 GPA or better in the Spring 2025 semester, including 68 that posted 3.50 or better.

Additionally, eight players posted a 4.0 GPA in the spring. In total, 99 players currently hold a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. The spring culminated with eight football players graduating from UF.

After becoming the third Florida center selected as a AP First-Team All-American, Jake Slaughter earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and Communication with cum laude honors.

Also earning All-American honors and winning the Mannelly Award, giving to the nation’s best long snapper, Rocco Underwood graduated with cum laude honors and his degree in Sport Management.

For the fourth consecutive semester, more than 400 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or higher GPA. The collective 3.42 GPA by UF student-athletes is an all-time high, replacing the 3.39 GPA set in fall of 2024.
