Florida Gators to open a fall camp practice to fans, Florida Victorious Fan day to follow

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators will kick off fall camp in preparation for the 2023 season this Monday. This year, the Gators will do something different, opening a fall practice to fans on Saturday, August 5.

Gates will open at 2 p.m. and fans can enter through Gate 1 and 6. Admission to the stadium is free. Gate 18 will serve as the only exit point at the end of practice. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium’s gameday prohibited items and clear bag policy will be in effect. Fans can become familiar with the list of prohibited items by clicking here.

Select concession stands will be open, as snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Additionally, the Gators Sportshop will be open near Gate 9. Restrooms will also be open throughout the main concourse of the stadium.

Saturday’s practice will open to the public, weather permitting only.

The Gators will open camp Sunday, July 30 and the team will hold its first practice of the 2023 season on Monday, July 31. Saturday’s event will be the only practice open to the public.

The Gators will kick off the season when they travel to Salt Lake City to face Utah Thursday, Aug. 31. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Florida Gators players will stay after practice with Florida Victorious

Florida Victorious also announced today an exclusive autograph signing for its members with Billy Napier and Gators football players on Aug. 5, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The fan experience, which will follow the team’s open practice, will take place directly on Florida Field.

“Florida Victorious is all about giving our members exclusive access and unforgettable experiences,” said Nate Barbera, CEO of Florida Victorious. “Fan Day will be a great kick-off to the upcoming season.” 

The autograph session will begin at 4:30 p.m. and last 45 minutes. Florida Victorious members will be granted field access for themselves and one guest of age 12 or under via the north end zone near gate seven. Fans will find offense players on the west side of the field, and defense players and special teams on the east side. Members are permitted to bring one item of memorabilia to be signed and must adhere to the clear bag policy.  

For the open practice, gates will open at 2 p.m., and fans can enter through gates one and six. Admission to the stadium is free, and both events will be held as scheduled, weather permitting. Gate 18 will serve as the only exit point at the end of practice. 

For fans who are looking to join in on similar top-tier experiences, Florida Victorious will be onsite at the open practice for those interested in becoming members. The organization offers a variety of membership options, ranging from $15 – $250 per month, from which 90%+ of revenues will go to student-athletes. One of the organization’s most unique offerings is The 96 Club (priced at $96 per month), which is a tribute to the 1996 National Championship football team.
