Florida Gators uniform combination for the Las Vegas Bowl
The Las Vegas Bowl is a day away and the Florida Gators bowl game threads have dropped. Florida will wear its traditional orange helmet with a blue jersey and blue pants. It’s just the second time this season Florida has worn this combination.
The Gators wore traditional uniforms most of the 2022 season, sporting orange helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants in road games. Florida deviated from that three times in 2022. They wore the same orange/blue/blue combination of blue on blue at home against South Carolina, a 38-6 win. The Gators wore orange pants in a road loss to Vanderbilt. Florida ended the season hearing orange helmets with white jerseys and white pants on the road at Florida State.
Florida is the away team in the bowl game, so the traditional blue home jersey is a surprise. It also calls to mind the Urban Meyer years where any big game would see the Gators trot out in blue on blue or white on white for their jersey combination.
Oregon State announces their gameday uniforms
The Beavers will fit right in at the all-black Allegiant Stadium. Oregon State announced they will be “betting on black” this Saturday with an all-black uniform set.

A familiar face
The Gators started the season hosting a former player in Mohamoud Diabate and will end the season facing off against another. Andrew Chatfield played two-plus seasons for the Gators before entering the transfer portal during the 2021 season. Chatfield transferred to OSU during the 2021 academic year.
In his first year with the Beavers Chatfield has played in 11 of the Beavers’ 12 games. He has 18 tackles 1.5 tackles for a loss, five quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble.
