The Florida Gators were double-digit underdogs vs. top-10 opponents each of the past two games.

But that won’t be the case this coming Saturday

Per betting lines from FanDuel, Florida has opened as a 5.5-point underdog (-110) against LSU, whom the Gators face at The Swamp at 3:30 p.m. on ABC. The money line for LSU as a one-score favorite is -200 with the Gators’ being at +164 as the underdog.

The over/under was set at 55.5.

Florida, now 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the SEC, lost at No. 5 Texas on Saturday, 49-17. The Gators never led and at one point trailed 42-0 before Texas took its foot off the gas. Starting Gators quarterback DJ Lagway, injured (hamstring) the previous week vs. Georgia, did not play. His status moving forward is unclear. And his health obviously has the potential to lead to some adjustments to the betting line.

Lagway was replaced Saturday in the starting lineup by Aidan Warner, a preferred walk-on transfer from Yale. He was 12 of 25 for 132 yards and two interceptions. Graham Mertz, who previously was Florida’s starting quarterback, was lost for the season after sustaining a torn ACL vs. Tennessee on Oc. 13.
