Florida Gators vs. Ole Miss Rebels: How to watch, channel, streaming
Both teams playing inside The Swamp on Saturday afternoon will be highly motivated. The Florida Gators are fighting for bowl eligibility. The No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels are fighting for a playoff spot.
It will be intense on the field. And, it will be loud in the stands (it’s a sellout).
Florida, 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the SEC, beat LSU 27-16 last weekend behind the play of quarterback DJ Lagway — and a strong defense that sacked the Tigers seven times and had 11 tackles for loss. That game also was at The Swamp, which was loud from start to finish, something that made life difficult for the Tigers.
Lagway was 13-of-26 passing for 226 yards and one touchdown in the win. He missed the previous Florida game with a hamstring injury and the Gators lost to Texas 49-17 on the road.
Meanwhile, Ole Miss is 8-2, 4-2 in the SEC. The Rebels were off last weekend and they are rested and healthy for this game. Ole Miss beat Georgia 28-10 at home in its most recent game and the Rebels feature both a high-powered offense and a rock-solid defense. And, of course, their coach Lane Kiffin, is one of the most recognizable names in college sports.
It should be an entertaining one.
