Florida launches Gators NIL for fans, boosters to support athletes
Welcome to Good Morning Gators, where we cover the latest news, notes and analysis on Florida athletics. Join us each morning to get caught up on everything in the world of Florida football, UF recruiting, Gators basketball, Florida baseball and more.
On Friday morning, the University of Florida launched GatorsNIL.com for fans and support to student-athletes directly through name, image and likeness.
UF athletic director Scott Stricklin released a minute-long video on social media promoting the new website and different ways to contribute to NIL.
“Gator Nation, the new era of college athletics has arrived,” Stricklin said in the video below. “Florida Athletics is one of the top programs in the nation and that is in huge part because of your continued support. Name, image and likeness has come along and has created new and exciting ways for our data athletes to have some unbelievable opportunities. And you, Gator Nation, play an important role in this.
“There are many ways in which you can directly support our athletes and athletic programs that will take the orange and blue to the very top. You can do so by giving directly to The Gator Collective, purchasing personalized apparel with Fanatics, grabbing exclusive NFTs with Campus, or creating unique opportunities for our athletes through INFLCR‘s NIL exchange. Now that’s a lot of info, but we put it all in one place so you can take advantage of the ways you can support Gators through name, image and likeness. Just visit GatorsNIL.com. Thanks for all you do and go Gators.”
