Game notes

* Florida and Kentucky see their 60-season home-and-home series streak end this season, as the teams meet just once in the regular season for the first time since 1964.

* The Gators won the last meeting in overtime on Kentucky’s floor, as Walter Clayton Jr. knocked in one of his seven 3-pointers with 3.0 seconds left in regulation and another to take the lead with 1:35 left in overtime.

* Florida has only picked up back-to-back wins at Kentucky twice in series history: 2006/2007 and 1988/1989. UF trails in the all-time series 42-110, including a 12-55 mark on the road.

* Saturday’s matchup marks the 23rd time Florida has been in a top-10 matchup. UF has gone 6-16 in those games. Since going 4-1 in top-10 games in 2006-07, the Gators have dropped seven straight.

* Of the Gators’ 1,381 all-time regular season SEC games, only five (0.00362%) have been between a pair of top-10 teams, most recently in 2012 when No. 8 Florida visited top-ranked Kentucky.
