Game notes
* Saturday marks the 120th meeting between Florida and LSU. The Tigers lead the all-time series 66-53 including a 36-16 mark in Baton Rouge.
* The Gators have won three straight in the series and five of the last six against the Tigers, including an 82-80 victory in the O’Dome last season.
* Florida’s current five-game winning streak is its longest in SEC play since 2019. . UF’s last SEC win streak longer than five games was an eight-win run from Jan. 25-Feb. 21, 2017.
* During this stretch, Florida is hitting 12.6 3-pointers per game at a .420 clip while dishing 19.6 assists per game. The Gators have been playing without at least one usual starter in every game during the streak.

* Florida has had five double-figure scorers in four straight games, UF’s longest such streak on record. The Gators had a pair of three-game streaks last season and four others between 1998-2005.
* Florida’s six turnovers in Tuesday’s win vs. Oklahoma matched a season low and were UF’s fewest in SEC play in nearly two years (four at Vanderbilt, 2/25/23).
* First-team All-American candidate Walter Clayton Jr. is having a two-season run that ranks among the all-time best in school history. With several weeks left to play, his 1,064 points already rank among the top 10 two-season totals in Florida history and his 163 3-pointers rank as the No. 6 two-season total at UF.
* Walter Clayton Jr. has made a 3-pointer in 48 consecutive appearances. This season he broke Michael Frazier II’s previous record of 41 straight, set in 2014 and 2015.
