Florida vs. Missouri football schedule, how to watch, TV channel, streaming info, game time
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators are looking for their first conference win in more than a year. Standing in their way are the Missouri Tigers. The Gators are coming off of a short week, having played Eastern Washington on Sunday due to Hurricane Ian. The good news for Florida is that Billy Napier has experience playing and game planning on short weeks in the Sun Belt. Napier is 4-0 in his career in games with less than one week of prep.
While Missouri is only 2-3 and 0-2 in the SEC, the Gators are not looking past the Tigers.
“You’ve got to be ready to play every week,” Napier said Wednesday. “There are no easy outs here. Each team in our league, they’ve got their own set of problems [they present], everybody’s working hard to come up with solutions. They’re trying to put the best product they can’t out there each week. The matchups are different every week. Not only personnel-wise but also schematically, so no easy outs in the SEC. It’s going to be a challenge every time and certainly, this past week was a great example of that.”

NOTES
- Week 6 represents the 12th all-time meeting between Florida and Missouri including the sixth matchup in Gainesville.
- With a win, the Gators would tie up the series (which dates back to 1965) at six wins apiece. Meanwhile, Florida is 3-2 at home against Missouri.
- Florida has won two of the last three meetings against Missouri, outscoring the Tigers, 87-47, in that span (13.3 PPG).
- Florida has totaled 300-plus yards and 200-plus passing yards in seven-straight games vs. Missouri.
- Last year’s game in Columbia represents Florida’s only OT contest across its last 83 games. Prior to that matchup, the Gators’ last played an OT game on Nov. 21, 2015, when Florida defeated Florida Atlantic, 20-14.
- This is the third meeting between UF HCBilly Napier and Missouri HC Eliah Drinkwitz as HCs, as both first found success in the Sun Belt Conference – Napier with Louisiana (40-12) from 2018-21, and Drinkwitz with App. St. (12-1) in 2019.
- Anthony Richardson is coming off back-to-back 200-yard passing games – the first two of his career.
- Richardson’s five rushing TDs pace all SEC QBs, rank tied-for-third in the P5 and tied-for-fourth in the FBS.
- Napier is 4-0 in his career in games with less than one week of prep
