Game notes
* Florida enters the NCAA Tournament fresh off an SEC Tournament title, holding a 1-seed for the third time in program history (2007, 2014).
* UF and Norfolk State previously met in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament in Omaha after 7-seed Florida dominated Virginia in the opening round and Norfolk State pulled the 15-over-2 upset vs. Missouri. The Gators used an early 25-0 run to open up a 29-6 lead vs. NSU and cruise to a Sweet 16 berth.
* Florida, Duke and Houston are the only three teams in the nation’s top 10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency. Florida enters the NCAA Tournament with the #1 offensive efficiency and #2 overall KenPom rating.
* UF has 30 wins for the fourth time in program history. The Florida Gators rolled up 36 victories in 2013-14, 35 in 2006-07 and 33 in 2005-06.
