Game notes

* Saturday marks the 142nd meeting between Florida and Tennessee. The Vols lead the all-time series 81-60 with a 17-51 mark in Knoxville. Golden is 2-1 against Tennessee coach Rick Barnes.

* Florida and Tennessee meet for the second time this season after the Gators took the Gainesville showdown in dominant fashion. UF allowed just 12 field goals in a 73-43 rout, posting the largest margin of victory vs. a No. 1 team since 1968 and the third-largest in the history of the sport.

* The Gators bring a three-game winning streak into Saturday’s matchup with dominant home wins vs. Texas and Georgia sandwiching a last-second rally at South Carolina.

* UF is 7-17 all-time in top-10 matchups (1-1 this season), but 0-10 on the road in such games.

* Florida’s next four opponents are all ranked in the top-25. Should they all stay ranked, it would be the first such stretch in UF regular season history and the second overall (last four games of 2007 NCAA Tournament).

* During SEC play, Walter Clayton Jr. has averaged 18.9 points, Alijah Martin 17.9 points and Will Richard 12.4 points, while Alex Condon is grabbing 9.3 rebounds per game.

* Clayton is 12 points from joining UF’s 1,000-point club. He has extended his Florida record for consecutive games with a 3-pointer to 43. Clayton has bested Michael Frazier II’s previous record of 41, set in 2014 and 2015.
