Florida vs. UConn: How to watch, betting lines, game notes

March Madness continues for the No. 1 seed Florida Gators (31-4/14-4 SEC) Sunday in the Round of 32. They will play 8-seed UConn (24-10/14-6 Big East), the two-time defending national champions.
This is the seventh game all-time between the Gators and Huskies. The two teams have faced each other twice in the NCAA Tournament, splitting those meetings in the 1994 Sweet 16 and 2014 Final Four.

Game notes
* The Florida Gators are 1-5 in the all-time series against UConn, with their lone victory coming the 1994 Sweet 16. The Huskies won the last meeting, 75-54, in Gainesville on Dec. 7, 2022.
* Florida and Duke are the only teams in the nation’s top 10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency. Florida holds the No. 1 offensive efficiency and entered the NCAA Tournament with a No. 2 overall KenPom rating.
* Florida has posted a 7-0 record in the month of March, scoring 94.0 points per game. The Gators have averaged 10.9 3-pointers, 19.1 free throws and 17.4 assists per game this month.

* Walter Clayton Jr. eclipsed the 2,000-point career scoring mark during Friday’s game. He is one of five four-year players active this season to cross that milestone.
* Clayton Jr.’s 1,235 points over his two seasons at UF trail only the legendary Neal Walk’s scoring output over a two-season span (1,312; 1967-69). His 194 3-pointers trail only Lee Humphrey (226, 2005-07) for most by a Gator over two seasons. Clayton has made a 3-pointer in a Florida record 57 consecutive appearances.
