Four Florida Gators named to Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The creators of EA Sports College Football 25 and SEC coaches agrees agree on one thing: UF’s best players on offense and defense. Four Florida Gators were named to the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team, the conference announced on Thursday.
Senior running back Montrell Johnson Jr., senior cornerback Jason Marshall Jr. and senior punter Jeremy Crawshaw each earned a second-team nod, while junior kicker Trey Smack earned a third team selection as a kickoff specialist.
The same four players were also named to the media’s preseason All-SEC teams back in July, with Johnson being the lone Gator to earn second-team honors. UF sophomore receiver Eugene Wilson III was snubbed on both lists.
