Four-star LB Jordan Hall includes Gators in top five ahead of official visit
With his first official visit just days away, IMG Academy linebacker Jordan Hall has shifted his full attention to a handful of schools.
Earlier today, the four-star prospect dished out a top five of Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State and North Carolina. Each of those schools will receive an official visit during the month of June.
The first school to receive a multi-day visit from Hall is Florida, which will roll out the red carpet this weekend.
Since Billy Napier joined forces with the Gators, Hall has made a trio of trips to Gainesville, including for the Orange and Blue Game. The 6-foot-2, 224-pound junior received an up-close look at the program last summer as well.
The SEC program is providing Hall with a home-like feel, while the university itself has plenty of selling points too.
According to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Hall is the No. 17 linebacker and No. 229 player overall.
“The new staff is always reaching out and it feels like family when I am there. It is like I belong there when I am at Florida. I have gotten to know the coaches and it is a comfortable feeling for me there. Kamari Wilson is there too, and he has told me a lot of good things about the staff,” Hall previously told On3’s Chad Simmons.
“I was back for the spring game, I like how all the players got along, and the staff is great. The vibe at Florida is something I am really feeling too.”

Hall is comfortable with multiple Gators staff members
As for his on-field projection, Hall says UF is recruiting him to suit up at inside linebacker under Jay Bateman.
UF’s staff has been in place for just over a handful of months, but Bateman previously recruited Hall to North Carolina as well. That bond is already fairly strong and continues to grow each time the Virginia native sets foot on campus.
“Coach Bateman is a great coach. I’ve been talking to him for almost two years now, so he was really hands on and really informative. Me and him have a really good relationship,” Hall previously told GO.
“He just told me to pay attention and follow him around as much as I could today. He was really hands on with the linebackers, and that’s something I look forward to getting to know from Florida more.”
There is a strong level of comfort when Hall associates himself with Billy Napier as well.
“I got sit down and talk to him again. It was really good,” Hall said of Napier. “He expressed how not only do they really want me, but they have a need for my position and somebody with my assets.”
According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, Michigan State is the school trending in Hall’s recruitment. The Spartans have a 23.4 percent chance at coming out on top, while UF checks in at No. 2 with odds of 20.5 percent.
