Gators commit Tramond Collins earns spot in 2027 Rivals300 rankings

The Florida Gators‘ lone 2027 commit is continuing to turn heads on the national level.
On Wednesday, Cottondale (Fla.) athlete Tramond Collins made his debut in the initial 2027 Rivals300 rankings, checking in at No. 106 overall. The 4-star prospect committed to the Gators on June 21 shortly after attending the Grill in the Ville recruiting event in Gainesville.
Collins is currently ranked as an athlete, but Florida is bringing him in as a wide receiver. He’s one of the most electric playmakers in the Florida Panhandle and someone the Gators prioritized early. His blend of speed, toughness and versatility makes him a big-time addition for Billy Napier’s staff.
Whether it’s offense, defense or special teams, Collins consistently finds ways to impact the game. He has natural instincts, reacts quickly, and plays with advanced feel for someone entering just their junior season. He is smooth in space, tracks the ball well and plays with a physical edge.
On film, Collins shows the ability to close space quickly and doesn’t shy away from contact. His lateral movement, footwork and energy definitely stand out. He competes at a high level no matter where he lines up on the field.
With two seasons of high school football left, Collins still has room to grow. Improving his route running and creating more consistent separation will help him take the next step as a receiver. As he continues to mature physically, he should also become more dangerous after the catch and in contested situations.
