Gators in the NFL: Week Seven

A number of former Florida Gators made their impact throughout week seven of the NFL season.

Here are the numbers from the former Gators’ performances on the weekend:

Arizona Cardinals

DJ Humphries – Humphries started at left tackle on Thursday night for the Cardinals in their 42-34 win over New Orleans.

Marco Wilson – Wilson had a stellar night with three total tackles and an interception that he ran 38 yards back for a touchdown.

Atlanta Falcons

Kyle Pitts – the 2020 Mackey Award winner caught three passes for 9 yards in the Falcons’ 35-17 loss to the Bengals.

Feleipe Franks did not record any stats on Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens

Demarcus Robinson, David Sharpe and Jeremiah Moon recorded no stats in the Ravens’ 23-20 win over Cleveland.

Buffalo Bills

Kaiir Elam and the Bills had a bye in week seven.

Carolina Panthers

CJ Henderson – the 2020 top 10 pick helped the Panthers to a victory over the Bucs with four total tackles.

Eddy Piñeiro – Piñeiro hit all three of his extra point attempts in the win.

Cincinnati Bengals

Evan McPherson – McPherson made all five of his extra point attempts in the Bengals’ 35-17 win over the Falcons.

Zach Carter – the rookie finished with five total tackles in the win.

Cleveland Browns

Taven Bryan – the 2018 first round draft pick’s lone tackle was a sack in the Browns’ 23-20 loss to the Ravens.

Dallas Cowboys

Dante Fowler Jr. – the veteran had two total tackles in the Cowboys’ 24-6 win over the Lions.

Malik Davis did not record any stats in the win.

Denver Broncos

Tyrie Cleveland recorded no stats in the Broncos’ 16-9 loss to the Jets.

Detroit Lions

Alex Anzalone – Anzalone had seven total tackles and a half sack in the 24-6 loss to Dallas.

Jarrad Davis recorded no stats on Sunday.

Green Bay Packers

TJ Slaton – Slaton recorded three total tackles in the 23-21 loss to the Commanders.

Houston Texans

Dameon Pierce – the rookie had 20 carries for 92 yards with four receptions for 25 yards in the 38-20 loss to Las Vegas.

Jonathan Greenard was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a calf injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jawaan Taylor – Taylor made another start for the Jaguars on Sunday in their 23-17 loss to the Giants.

Kansas City Chiefs

Tommy Townsend – Townsend punted the ball one time for 33 yards in the 44-23 win over San Francisco.

Carlos Dunlap – Dunlap finished with two total tackles in the loss.

Los Angeles Rams

Brandon Powell and the Rams had a bye in week seven. Van Jefferson is still on injured reserve.

Miami Dolphins

Freddie Swain recorded no stats in the Dolphins’ 16-10 win over Pittsburgh.

Minnesota Vikings

Jonathan Bullard and the Vikings were on a bye in week seven.

New England Patriots

Trent Brown – Brown started again at left tackle for the Patriots in their 33-14 Monday night loss to Chicago.

New Orleans Saints

Marcus Maye – Maye racked up five total tackles in the Saints’ 42-34 Thursday night loss to Arizona.

New York Giants

Kadarius Toney was out in the Giants’ 23-17 win over Jacksonville with a hamstring injury.

New York Jets

Marcell Harris missed the Jets’ 16-9 win over the Broncos with an achilles injury.

Philadelphia Eagles

CJ Gardner-Johnson and Philadelphia had week seven off with a bye.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Keanu Neal – Neal had four total tackles and a pass deflection in Tampa’s 21-3 loss to Carolina.

Fred Johnson and Kyle Trask recorded no stats on Sunday.

Washington Commanders 

Jon Bostic recorded no stats in the Commanders’ win over Green Bay.
