Gators in the NFL: Week Six

A number of former Florida Gators made their impact throughout week six of the NFL season.

Here are the numbers from the former Gators’ performances on the weekend:

Arizona Cardinals

DJ Humphries – Humphries started at left tackle on Sunday for the Cardinals in their 19-9 loss against the Seahawks.

Marco Wilson – Wilson finished with six total tackles and a pass deflection in the loss.

Atlanta Falcons

Kyle Pitts – the 2020 Mackey Award winner got his first touchdown reception of the season on Sunday with three receptions for 19 yards. 

Feleipe Franks did not record any stats in the Falcons’ 28-14 win over San Francisco.

Baltimore Ravens

Demarcus Robinson – Robinson finished with three receptions for 27 yards in the loss to the New York Giants.

David Sharpe and Jeremiah Moon recorded no stats on Sunday.

Buffalo Bills

Kaiir Elam – in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game, Elam made his presence felt. He picked off Patrick Mahomes in the end zone and had four total tackles.

Carolina Panthers

CJ Henderson – the 2020 top 10 pick did not play on Sunday with a knee injury.

Eddy Piñeiro – Piñeiro hit his lone field goal from 42 yards and an extra point in Carolina’s loss to the Rams.

Cincinnati Bengals

Evan McPherson – McPherson made his lone field goal attempt from 52 yards and all three extra point attempts in the Bengals’ 30-26 win over the Saints.

Zach Carter – the rookie finished with two total tackles against New Orleans.

Cleveland Browns

Taven Bryan – the 2018 first round draft pick had one total tackle in the Browns’ 38-15 loss to the Patriots.

Dallas Cowboys

Dante Fowler Jr. – the veteran got himself two tackles and a sack in the division loss to the Eagles on Sunday night.

Malik Davis did not record any stats in Philadelphia but made his first appearance of the regular season for the Cowboys.

Denver Broncos

Tyrie Cleveland recorded no stats in the Broncos’ Monday night loss to the Chargers.

Detroit Lions

Alex Anzalone and Jarrad Davis were off as the Lions had their bye week during week six.

Green Bay Packers

TJ Slaton – Slaton recorded one total tackle in Green Bay’s 27-10 loss to the Jets.

Houston Texans

Jonathan Greenard and Dameon Pierce were off in week six with a bye.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jawaan Taylor – Taylor made another start for the Jaguars on Sunday in their 34-27 loss to the Colts.

Kansas City Chiefs

Tommy Townsend – Townsend punted the ball three times for an average of 57.7 yards with a long of 60 yards in the loss to the Bills.

Carlos Dunlap – Dunlap finished with one total tackle in the loss.

Los Angeles Rams

Brandon Powell – Powell had four catches for 27 yards and three carries for 13 yards in a winning effort against the Panthers.

Van Jefferson is on injured reserve.

Miami Dolphins

Freddie Swain recorded no stats in the Dolphins’ loss to the Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings

Jonathan Bullard – Bullard recorded one total tackle in the Vikings’ 24-16 win over the Dolphins.

New England Patriots

Trent Brown started again at left tackle for the Patriots in their 38-15 win in Cleveland.

New Orleans Saints

Marcus Maye – Maye returned to action against the Bengals. In the loss, he compiled four total tackles.

New York Giants

Kadarius Toney was out in the Giants’ win over Baltimore with a hamstring injury.

New York Jets

Marcell Harris – Harris finished with one total tackle in the Jets’ 27-10 win in Green Bay.

Philadelphia Eagles

CJ Gardner-Johnson – Gardner-Johnson finished with four total tackles and two interceptions to help keep the Eagles undefeated.

Seattle Seahawks 

Jabari Zuniga recorded no stats in the Seahawks’ win over Arizona.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Keanu Neal – Neal had one total tackle in the 20-18 loss to the Steelers.

Fred Johnson appeared in game action while Kyle Trask posted no stats in Sunday’s game.

Washington Commanders 

Jon Bostic recorded no stats in the Commanders’ Thursday night win over the Bears.
