What the Gators are getting in Myles Graham
Quoteworthy: “Myles Graham is really an outstanding space linebacker. He has an outstanding skillset just as a space off-ball linebacker. I think we’ve seen him play more in space this year. And kind of watching him in the context of the Buchholz defense, you see him do a lot of different things.

What jumps off to me is his athleticism — his functional athleticism. Operating in space. He covers receivers, running backs, tight ends down field. He’s really a natural in coverage. He has really nice play speed. He sees plays quickly. Triggers downhill to make plays against the run. Has really nice range. Runs sideline to sideline. And I think he kind of has the look of the modern linebacker based on what he put on film as a senior.
I think he’s a big get for Florida. And he’s a guy the Gators fans should be excited about. I think he’s going to be a really good player in Gainesville.” — On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power

Final Analysis: Of Florida’s three linebacker commits (Aaron Chiles and Adarius Hayes being the others), Graham has a chance to make the biggest splash in 2024. And it wouldn’t be the least bit surprising if he’s a starter in Year 1 at some point. He’s the total package at his position. There are some on the Florida staff who believe he’s the best 2024 linebacker in the country.
