Gators Online Show: Florida baseball season preview with Jeff Cardozo
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 117, I’m joined by the Voice of Florida Gator Baseball Jeff Cardozo to preview the 2025 season, which opens Friday.
First pitch is at 6:30 p.m. with the first of three games against Air Force at Condron Family Ballpark. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday.
Cardozo breaks down Florida’s returning players from last season, the team’s new additions via the transfer portal, UF’s projected lineup and pitching staff.
The Gators are 15-2 (.938) in season openers under Kevin O’Sullivan while featuring a 41-8 resume (.854) in the first series of the year. UF has 10 of its last 11 openers.
